I am trying to make a three-item long to-do list for each day, where I list the three most important things I must get done today. And one of them has to relate to Christmas! This way my December chaos won't take over.
So here they are:
1. Ironing. I hate ironing. But my husband is running out of shirts, and so am I. And why is it that placemats and napkins look so much better ironed? I didn't do it for years. Thought it was stupid. But they don't take long and then I feel so much classier at dinner time!
2. My husband's billing. Here in Canada we submit all the patients that he saw this month to the Ministry of Health and they pay us. It's not nearly as glamorous as it sounds. If you get one little thing wrong they kick it out. And let's not forget the waiting lists...
3. Finish six scarves I'm knitting for charity! I love knitting, so this one isn't a hassle. It's just that I'm a little bit behind. But I will not panic yet.
By the way, it's 11:24 and it has been 42 hours since my last Diet Pepsi. Aren't you proud of me?
