So I missed yesterday's Wifey Wednesday posting because I couldn't get wireless in my hotel room, and then I went to the library and it didn't have it either. I was extreeeeemely put out.
But I don't really have time to write a brilliant Wifey Wednesday post on this Thursday morning because I am due at breakfast in five minutes and I am TIRREEEED. Extreeeemely.

In the meantime, I am on day 4 of a 5 day road trip and I am missing my kids and my hubby. I've been having a great time with the women on the Girls Nights Out that I'm speaking at every night, but I do miss my kids. My Katie is always climbing into bed with me in the morning and hugging me, even though she's 10, and my Rebecca likes to chat at night. And all I have is a television that plays endless reruns of CSI.
I also learned an important lesson after shoe shopping this week. (Scroll down for pictures). It is never a good idea to go on a five day road trip assuming you can buy new shoes for the events because you have nothing decent at home. New shoes, you see, hurt. A lot. And there is a reason I have only owned clunky shoes for the last few years. They don't hurt. And you can wear socks with them, and right now it is freezing.
So my feet are cold and hurting, and I miss my kids and my hubby. But at least I get a free breakfast!
