The Stick is Inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame

Pursuant to my post a few days ago on how families play together, I just learned that the stick has been inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame!

Apparently it fulfills all the requirements: it's been around for a long time; it inspires unstructured play; it gives wings to the imagination.

Compared to the XBox and all the computerized toys we have today, I say "Hip Hip Hooray" for the stick! Let's get back to basics.

As Jonah wonders in the Corner, I wonder if the snowball will be next?
